“WellSaid is a complete game changer. It’s made creating e-learning materials much more efficient and effective.”

Multimedia Developer

4imprint is a global promotional products leader with nearly 2,000 team members across on-site, hybrid, and remote roles. The Learning and Development team supports a fast-moving workforce with training that must stay current, relevant, and consistent across every environment.

The challenge

When 4imprint shifted to remote work in 2020, the L&D team needed a new way to deliver internal training at scale. Audio quality varied across self-recorded sessions. Updates were slow, and even minor script changes triggered full re-recordings. Over time, those delays limited production capacity and disrupted the learner experience.

Amy Gustafson, multimedia developer at 4imprint, felt the pressure to keep training modules aligned as content changed.

“We tried recording with in-house voice actors, but it was hard to keep the audio consistent. If we needed to change one word, we had to start over.”

The team needed a workflow that reduced production load, improved consistency, and gave learners a more engaging experience without adding new demands on internal staff.

The solution

Amy adopted WellSaid early in her instructional design career and continues to rely on it for every project.

“I’ve been a WellSaid fan from the start. Other tools aren’t in the same room. You’ve always continued to grow and bring new things to the table.”

WellSaid gave 4imprint the reliability, scale, and creative control the team had been missing:

  • Rapid updates without re-recording cycles
  • Consistent voice across modules, teams, and departments
  • Access to diverse voices that match the tone of each learning moment
  • Studio-quality audio produced entirely in-house
  • A scalable workflow that supports multimedia training across formats

“It’s like casting actors for your project. You find the perfect voice for every moment,” Amy said.

The results

WellSaid reshaped how 4imprint produces training content. Work that previously required multiple people, long recording sessions, and extensive editing now happens quickly, with fewer steps and less dependency on others. Amy can update modules on her own and deliver content that stays aligned with business needs.

“It’s so easy to make updates. I can do it all by myself. I don’t have to rely on someone else for the voiceover,” she shared. “With WellSaid, I can create a mood. I can change the tone or feel just by switching the voice.”

The ability to select voices that convey emotion and nuance also expanded the team’s creative range.

“Some of the voices evoke emotion; you can feel it. When I write my script, I’ll throw a sentence or two into WellSaid and go, ‘Nope, that’s not the feel’. It’s like you’re interviewing actors, waiting to find the right one.”

Voice consistency, creative control, and speed now shape every training module the team delivers. WellSaid is embedded in the entire workflow.

“I can’t imagine creating an e-learning experience without using WellSaid,” Amy said.

Why it matters

Many training teams struggle with outdated content, slow turnaround times, and limited control over quality. 4imprint shows what becomes possible when L&D teams have a scalable, enterprise-ready voice platform designed for real production workflows.

WellSaid is a complete game changer,” Amy said. “It’s made creating e-learning materials much more efficient and effective.

For 4imprint, WellSaid represents a shared commitment to high-quality learning, creative flexibility, and training that can evolve with the business.
